Tom Wiegand
Tom enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17, he retired after serving his country for 20 years. When he retired he relocated to the Triangle area of North Carolina and opened his own Sports Collectible Store. Along with owning, operating and managing multiple tavern establishments Tom has played poker for many years. In addition to helping bars with entertainment and bookings to fill a venue, Tom has gone out of his way to help others in need, including being Vice President of a 501.c non-profit organization called Help A Brother Out. We are bringing the fun back into poker while helping the Local Community as well as Many Veteran Organizations.
Tom was recently nominated as the 2017 Veteran Of the Year by the US Veterans Corps.

Sara Figueroa
Sara graduated from NC State University in 2007 with a degree in Business Management. During her college career, she played a lot of poker games. She even played in the 2006 World Series of Poker. As she got older, life got in the way and nightly poker became less frequent. She started working at a local bar who had poker nights and then went on to open her own sports bar in 2014, less than one year after having her daughter. Although life got busy, her love for the game never changed. She is married, with one daughter and both her husband and her daughter are her world.

Fritz Barnes
Fritz Barnes is the very lucky husband of Jamie, and is a super proud dad and granddad of seven eight nine!
Fritz has been playing poker since 2013, playing with KOntenders since the beginning of 2016, and loves the game. Fritz has cashed in three BPO Main Events, including a first-place finish at Borgata in December 2015 and an 18th-place finish at Golden Nugget in 2021.
Fritz also runs the website for the league.

Michele Bryant
Michele Bryant found KOntenders Poker first with her husband. Just coming to games with him, showing her support, and socializing. The more she talked to people and watched the fun, she was finally convinced to sit down and enjoy!
For the past 4 to 5 years, Michele took a spot as a Tournament Director and has now stepped up as the Director of KOntenders Poker Texas.
Michele has been happily married to Shannon Bryant for over 20 years and together they raised 3 beautiful children who are young adults now. Michele keeps active and busy with a full-time job, a referee during volleyball season, and has become quite the accomplished poker player with an impressive cash in the 2021 BPO National Championship.

Clayton and Sarah Hendricks
Clayton and Sarah have been married for 20 years. Clayton was in the US Army for 13 years and relocated to San Antonio, TX with his family in 2013. They have 2 children one of which is the USMC. Sarah works for the State of Texas and Clayton is currently in school to teach mathematics. They have been playing poker since 2003. Clayton loves the statistical side of playing poker and Sarah loves the social aspect and the art of learning peoples tells.
