Terms of Play

By participating in any League Poker event, you agree to adhere to all League rules and regulations. Violators may be warned, suspended from play for a time determined by the tournament director, Supervisor, or League, or removed from the tournament. Chips from any player leaving the tournament will be removed from play.

All prizes and promotions described on this website represent the league’s intention and expectation, but the league must reserve the right to make changes at any time due to circumstances beyond our control.

Any bad mouthing, slandering of the Venue, League or its staff will result in immediate suspension from the league. When you have been suspended you will no longer have any right to play in any tournament or events sponsored by this league to include Bar Poker Open.

The happiness of our venue owners is one of the primary life-bloods of our league. Players are strongly encouraged to support the venues by purchasing a meal each time they play.

If a player walks out on a tab, the player must take care of that tab before playing in any Kontenders game at any location. This can happen to any of us once, as an oversight or perhaps because of confusion with a significant other about who was taking care of the bill. However, if this happens three times, that is theft, which Kontenders Poker cannot and will not tolerate, and the player may be banned from the league. Please be extremely careful about taking care of your tabs, being a good patron and keeping our venue owners happy, so the league and the venue can continue to provide the games you enjoy.

A Few Notes About Prizes

If there is any confusion or disagreement regarding the meaning of prizes described in any promotional materials, social media, or on this site, the owners of Kontender Entertainment, which runs Kontenders Poker League, have the final say in the interpretation. We do our best to describe clearly and in detail what the prizes will be. If you have any questions or concerns about prizes, please feel free to ask for clarification before playing.
