On Wednesday January 11, Kontenders Poker teamed up with Dingo Dog Brewery to host a charity poker event at Imbibe in Chapel Hill, NC. For each Dingo Dog beer bought, $1 went to the charity Paws4Ever. And, a percentage of the buyins also went to the Charity.
This has not been the first time that Kontenders Poker has thrown a charity event, in the past they have done events to help out players families, the many different charities for the Military and Medical Research. Not only does Kontenders Poker host Charity games but also weekly games in local venues throughout North Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas.
The players raised $300 at Imbibe and had a fun evening of poker and good food and meeting new people.

Dingo Dog Brewing Company is a nano brewery operating on PlowGirl Farm, outside of Carrboro, NC. Founded as a non-profit brewing concern, Dingo Dog produces beverages using produce grown onsite in a “zero waste” production facility, and will use profits to fund grants to no-kill animal rescue organizations in North Carolina.
