In the first nine weekends of the current Bar Poker Open season, four Kontenders Poker players have won seats to the next two Bar Poker Open main events:
- $100,000 Guaranteed event in Atlantic City in December, 2017
- $200,000 Guaranteed event in Las Vegas in June, 2018
These players have also each won a travel package, including hotel and $400 for airfare, for the event in Las Vegas! In today’s weekly online event, Chad Carroll took the top spot, joining Greg Barone, Andrew Cingolo, and Joe Wanek as winners of the weekly online top prize. Chad has been playing poker for sixteen years. Speaking of his online win, Chad says it was about patience and well-timed raises, plus some big hands down the stretch that held up. Chad has not been to a Bar Poker Open in AC or Vegas yet, so this will be his first shot at a BPO title. But he does have an 8th place finish in Super Sunday in Wva for $3800, and also finished 11th in the Mega Stack at Ceasars for $2600, so he is hoping to bring that experience to the BPO and make a deep run.
