As most of you have heard by now, Tom Wiegand, owner of Kontenders Poker League, has some unfortunate health issues that are causing him to leave the league in RDU. I have personally known Tom for 20 years and we came up with a plan for me to purchase the RDU territory so we can continue to enjoy the league we all love. I am very excited about this new venture, and I look forward to bringing some new and exciting things to the league in the future. As far as the current games and league logistics are concerned, they will not be changing. I am looking forward to joining everyone at some games over the next few months. My first thing with the league is a Charity Tournament for Tom to help him with medical bills he is facing and as a THANK YOU for all he has done over the last 12 years. Let’s come together as the league family we are and show our appreciation and support. Details will come soon but mark your calendars for April 20th. With that being said, if anyone would like to donate any items to the raffle table, it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to the next steps with everyone.
